"Artist Residency Program 2023~ on Shodoshima Island" is focused on community, artistic connections, and islands in Setouchi.  The programme theme is “Structures of White Ants” that supports the objective of the residency to share knowledge and research between the invited artists and artists on the island. Invited artists will engage in "white ant-like" activities, such as fieldwork in empty houses, abandoned noodle factories and hold workshops to open "holes" in wood, earth and water on Shodoshima.
